enjoyable and unique

This is an academic type book on Italian comics; I found it enjoyable and fun. It is small, like a paperback, and not a lot of art in it, just some small reproductions dispersed through the text. i was hoping for more of a review of the artists with samples of their drawings, so I gave this 4 stars, but recommend it to get a sense of the culture of Italian comics, as it is very unique and well written.
