Andy Richter is an information security consultant with years in the field. He is one of the leading experts in implementing and configuring ISE successfully in many enterprises and environments and has been providing clients with his expertise on Cisco ISE since the launch of the product.
Jeremy Wood is the Security and Data Center Engineer at Norwich University in Northfield, VT. He has been with the university since graduation in 2007 and holds a BS in Computer Security and Information Assurance. He is responsible for the university's Cisco NAC and current ISE environments, including all wired, wireless and VPN connectivity.

I have been in this business along time it's rare to find a technical book that really mirrors the experience. We recently deployed ISE and gained more knowledge from this book than from any of the Cisco docs and even training material. It reads well and really takes you through all the steps needed for a successful ISE implementation. We are looking forward to the next update to this.

Well written and easy to follow. I am just getting started with ISE and found the this book helpful in understanding the policies and the configuration. Real world examples with screen shots are great as well.

The text is easy to read and it covers all major ISE topics

This is a well written guide to ISE. The text is easy to read and it covers all major ISE topics. I believe this would be a excellent shelf reference as each section is filled with "how to". It starts from the initial installation and builds out from there in a logical order. Screen shots of the platforms are included and it shows screenshots of wireless lan controller (Cisco WLC) configuration also. Sections that include things like switch commands include line-by-line explanations of what the commands do. I would give this book six stars if I could!
